Recent Changes to the 2014 Volvo S60
The 2014 S60 has been a hit with area drivers since it arrived here at Lovering Volvo of Meredith, and we're not surprised. With a few changes, the all-new S60 is the best edition of the automaker's iconic luxury sedan yet, and we're confident that you'll agree once you've taken it for a spin. Volvo has taken the tack of further refining a winning formula with this model - so what exactly has changed from the 2013 edition?
Here's a brief rundown:
·      Styling - The first thing that fans of the S60 will notice about the 2014 model is that its styling has been subtly revised. For instance, the rear exhaust tips are now flush with the bumper, while the radar for the car's adaptive cruise control has been masked black with a grille line on the cover. The front grille is also wider, and no longer sports chrome trim. Finally, the washer fluid nozzles are no longer visible. The overall effect is that the 2014 Volvo S60 looks a bit smoother and sleeker than its predecessor.
·      Interior
- The sensibility of smoothing out the vehicle's exterior has extended inside
as well, with the metallic gauges from the 2013 S60 being replaced with a
configurable thin film transistor display instrument cluster. With three
display modes - Elegance, Eco, and Performance - you can have the look and feel
that best represents your driving preferences.
·   Technology - Highlighting the technological changes to the S60 is the new Sensus multimedia navigation system, which is controlled via a seven-inch display. It features a fully functional internet browser that can take advantage of 3G/4G internet speeds through your phone or USB device. It can also function as a Wi-Fi hotspot, in addition to being able to stream music.
