Safety

Power is important, but so is safety - and safety is the Achilles heel of the A4. In testing conducted by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), the 2014 Audi A4 got the highest-possible score of "good" in moderate-overlap frontal offset, side-impact, and roof-strength tests - but it received the worst-possible rating of "poor" in the new small-overlap frontal offset test. The 2014 Volvo S60, on the other hand, scored "good" in all IIHS crash tests, including the small-overlap frontal offset test.
