Lovering Volvo in Meredith

In the name of better fuel-economy, Volvo has announced a switch in Volvo parts. Up until now, the automaker has equipped its vehicles with predominantly six- and eight-cylinder engines. Starting in 2013, however, Volvo will replace these large powerhouses with smaller, more efficient ones.

As the need for greater environmental consciousness becomes more and more evident, automakers are doing their best to create more fuel-efficient, eco-friendly vehicles. As it turns out, Volvo is going above and beyond. With a CO² reduction rate higher than that of its top ten competitors, the Swedish automaker is leading the pack.
